At the moment there is a lot of discussion on the android market forum. The reason for this is an actual change for the development device. Google decided to restrict the download of paid applications from the developer device.
This upsets the developer community because now no developer can download his own paid application on his device.
Ok the developer can install his own application directly on his device but he can’t pay and install applications from other developers. This means he can’t look at the work of his direct competitors.
The reason for this restriction is to prevent the ripping of foreign paid application with the developer device. One important question is, if Google really thinks that a developer who paid more than $400 (for the dev G1) would pirate applications worth $1 to $5.
